W. Lee Smith Jr. is the Founder and Managing Principal of DogFish Consulting, LLC, a telecommunications services firm specializing in the design and deployment of multimedia contact center solutions for Fortune 100 firms globally.
Mr. Smith has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1991. Prior, Mr. Smith founded and operated Castlegard Security for 7 years, an alarm systems firm operating in the DFW area.
Mr. Smith is a veteran of the US Air Force.
Mr. Smith holds professional certifications from Microsoft and Avaya specific to his professional expertise along with an FCC General Class license.
Mr. Smith has served terms on the boards of the Quitman Christian Academy, Hainesville Baptist Church Finance, helped as a member of the Wood County Gideon Camp and is a Past Master of Flora Lodge #119 in Quitman. Mr. Smith is also an Eagle Boy Scout.
Mr. Smith's education is varied with a focus on business management at University of Phoenix. He is a self-taught technologist whose hobbies include automobile restoration, carpentry, viticulture, amateur radio and travel.
Mr. Smith and his wife, Mariola, of 18 years have resided in Wood County over 20 years and have a blended family of 4 daughters and 1 son along with having celebrated 9 grandchildren. Mrs. Smith owns and operates a recreational travel services firm.
